Meet Adrienne

Adrienne Sheares is an institutional trust and visibility strategist, speaker, and founder of ViviMae Labs.

For more than a decade, Adrienne has worked at the intersection of strategic communications, leadership visibility, and behavior change — helping organizations translate complex ideas into clear narratives that build trust and motivate audiences to act.

Her career began during the rise of social media, when she built a freelance communications business after graduating during the Great Recession. Through her blog and community platform, I Heart Social Media DC, Adrienne quickly became known for helping organizations and leaders navigate emerging communication shifts and audience engagement online.

Over the years, her work has evolved beyond visibility alone to focus on a larger organizational challenge: helping institutions build trust that does not depend on only a few visible voices.

Today, Adrienne advises organizations on leadership visibility, trusted communication, employee advocacy, audience engagement, and strategic messaging during periods of change and transition.

Her work and insights have been featured in outlets including ABC News, Adweek, PRWeek, and more.

Adrienne is a proud graduate of Spelman College and holds a Master of Arts in Communication from Johns Hopkins University.
