Meet Adrienne

Adrienne Sheares is an entrepreneur, keynote speaker, storyteller, strategist, and coach.

She started her first business at eight years old, a popcorn and soda stand in her suburban Philadelphia neighborhood. Her revenue goal was simple, being able to buy Silly String. Although the venture was unsuccessful, it kicked off a theme in Adrienne's life, creating businesses to solve her problems.

After graduating during the Great Recession, without a job, Adrienne took advantage of the rise of social media and created a freelance social media business. She quickly positioned herself as an expert through her popular blog and meetup group, I Heart Social Media DC.

With over a decade of experience, Adrienne has created social media solutions for clients such as AARP, Discovery Education, Issa Rae (creator of HBO's Insecure), Legends of Learning, Lego Dimensions, The Root, Vote.org, and more.

Today, Adrienne is the proud owner of ViviMae Labs, a social PR consultancy that provides coaching, corporate training, workshops, and strategic counsel. She specializes in helping leaders use social PR to unleash their expertise and attract the opportunities they deserve.

Her expertise has been featured in AARP Magazine, ABC News, Adweek, PRWeek, and more.

Adrienne is a proud graduate of Spelman College and has a master of arts in communication from Johns Hopkins University.
